Somewhere in the 300-400 dollar range, no shotguns, but carbines and pistol suggestions welcome.
If any of you own the one your suggestioning... pros/cons?

I like weird guns. was looking at the kel-tec sub 2000 in 9mm. Idk tell me what you guys think.

If you're into unique guns, I might recommend getting a Luger p08. It's an older gun, and it has that look about it. It's also a pretty familiar gun, as far as imagery goes. I'm looking into buying one myself in the future, they're very nice guns to have.

You should list guns you have so I have an idea of what you like. But really at 300-400$ most are kinda crapy

I have a M1 30 cal carbine. A little marlin model 60 .22, And a British .303 enfield rifle<- I refuse to shoot the enfeild. scares the crap out of me I think its gonna blow up in my face.

really just want a compact plinker to play with till I have enough money for the kel-tec ksg!

Although a buddy has a gunshop so 300-400 dollar range is really more in the 4-500 retail range. but

I was looking at the walther p22 but read some mixed reviews on it.

even at 4-500 range, this seems like you would need to buy from pawn shops to get anything good. You should hit everyone in your local area. Never know if they have old or strange weps that you can get for cheep. I like to check mine every month for new inventory.

If you just want a fun 22, those are cheep. Rifle or pistol. Fun pistol combo is cheep red dot + Smith & Wesson .22 LR Single-Action Pistol. No kick pistol with a red dot and cheep ammo.
http://www.academy.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_10051_126583_-1?N=39632023

For larger cal Taurus makes some cheep but well made pistols.

I would also say to look at the Sig 556R when you get the money. Expensive for an AK (+1k), but worth it.

P.S. That Kel-tec KSG is crazy stupid, not to say I would not want to play with it, but cant see a reason for 14 shells in a pump

Bullet-Hitler

the ksg just looks fun to shoot, not really worried about home defense/practicality of the weapon. again i like weird guns, bullpup style is a favorite. buddy at gunshop has been pestering me through steam to buy a ps90 from him. Oh if i had the money!

How much? around here you can get one at a gun show for 1500$. Just remember unless you have military grade ammo you shooting a fast .22. If you have a .22, you can get cheep Bull-Pup stocks on line. Just a quick search: http://www.advancemfgtech.com/ruger_stock.htm or http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/muzzelite-10-22-bullpup-rifle-stock.aspx?a=282511 . And for $100-200 have a really unique wep.

Bullet-Hitler

most of the bullpup stocks for the 22's are shit, I did find a decent Sks that might be fun, and they have pretty cool aftermarket stocks for them, and yeah i know about the price of a good bullpup is about 1500-2000, too many gun shows, I about jizz myself when I get to hold a p90 or a aug, sigh, If I decided to sell a 4x4 i could buy em both but... the price of a decent bullpup was the reason I was looking at the keltec sub 2000, bout 400 bucks and its kinda weird. I was kinda put off em though, when I went to a gun store that has em, there 90% plastic.... and there difficult to mount sights on.

Save up a bit and get an AR-15.

HarmlessPanzy
05-23-2011, 10:01 AM
AR-15 not a unique wep, or even that good of one, and usually in the 800$ range. They do have a AR in .22 at the store for 400$ tho.

If you're looking for a gun that's incredibly fun to shoot look for an old Mosin-Nagant.

get a glock 21sf..

its a .45 short frame glock that even though its a .45 it handles well due to the sleek build of it.

Last weekend my buddies and I were blowing up Tannerite with an AR-15 at 100 yards for the 4th. I couldn't hit it at 100 yards because I'm a noob but the others did :P

Either way it's fucking cool

ar-15 is a joke.. just build an actual m4 by buying the upper and lower receiver seperatly.

its actually cheaper then an a4-15 and better quality.

No it's not. You have no idea what you're talking about. And it has all to do with what state he lives in. And for 400$ he is going to just get a piece of crap AR variant. Wake up dude.

DeathSlave
07-12-2011, 05:37 AM
well I actually do know what im talking about cause I know alot of armorers where they made me an actual m4 for less then 500 and its semi auto with no mag guards on it.

so talk down to who ever you want but facts are facts brah.

I think he should get that one gun, from that place. You know, that one guy had it, it was in that one section at that one swap meet.

Good times...

or if you want a good rifle and have enough money get this:
http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/58146-55.html

its a short barrel (picture is different), free floating, that takes .223 Remington/5.56x45mm NATO, and is all aroudn super badass.

if you dont like this model you can get the SCAR 17S which is just a 7.62 variant. it has excelent accuracy up to 600 meters.

Post the facts. If you can that is.

A shrubmaster you can't get the uppers and lowers combined for any less than 800. And that's batch pieces of crap.

Nah all it takes is some effort by looking into local gun ads for parts or going online and having them shipped.

I just wanted to help him out with a cheap good gun.

I don't need to prove anything to you kid.

Like I said. It all has to do with the state he is in. And you still aren't going to get anything even worth buying for 200$ for a upper and lower a piece. Sorry. Maybe he could get a stag. But he'd get 300 rounds in it and it'd go down. If anyone here is going to go AR they should go BCM.

ok say what you want all I said is just look on line for uppers and lowers and you will find something cheap and good quality.

PLEASE NOTE

1. The thread is dead. Bullet-Hitler found a wep about 7 months ago.

I just found a Ruger Target mini 14 for 550 bucks, not the most accurate I hear but should be fun, deffinetly gonna get it. so much for weird. but they have interesting aftermarket stocks. Nothing worthwhile in the bullpup veriaty but oh well

2. No one cares about which of you is right, can make the cheaper AR/M4, or has the larger E-Penis. Get a job and buy a good gun, cheep parts for a wep=stupid. There are reasons why USP =~1200$ and Tarrus 24/7=~400$.

DeathSlave

if he found a weapon 7 months ago why would he post this in may?

all I was saying is building a reliable rifle isnt that hard and is pretty cheap.
